Your Top 5 Dietitian Questions Answered
1. What is a registered dietitian?
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a nationally recognized credential. All Dietitian Live dietitians are RDNs, which means that they have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, passed a national exam, and completed a number of ongoing continuing education credits annually.
2. What is the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?
Dietitians undergo rigorous training, including a bachelor’s and master’s degree, an internship, and a certification exam. On the other hand, nutritionists do not undergo the same level of training as dietitians.
3. Why should I see a dietitian?
Registered dietitians are health professionals specializing in nutrition through a behavioral health lens. Whether you want to lose weight or improve your health, a dietitian can help you reach your long-term goals.
4. Will the appointments fit my schedule?
Dietitian Live services are 100% remote. Appointments are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We work with your schedule to make the journey as smooth and quick as possible.
5. Will signing up affect my insurance premiums?
Enrolling in our services will have NO effect on your insurance premiums.
