Success in any aspect of life is best achieved by working at a pace that YOU are comfortable with. This is why I always emphasize small steps and small goals that help to lay the foundation to achieving overall nutrition and health-related goals. When working with clients, I help them to see and understand that any progress is good and will help them become even better than they were yesterday and even closer to the person that they want to become. Whether it is losing or gaining weight, properly fueling oneself to improve athletic performance, or simply eating more mindfully, any goal can be achieved by taking the first step.
